Pick Your Own Strawberries

Since 1971 Cleveland area families have enjoyed coming to Patterson's to pick their own strawberries. Strawberries typically begin around June 10 and finish around the 4th of July, but that can vary depending on the weather and the crop.

2013 Update as of 6/10/13: The fields at 8765 Mulberry Road are open for picking!  We open at 8 am daily and we pick until picked out for the day.  Depending on the weather and the crowd, we could be picked out as early as 9 am or we might pick all day until 4 pm.  Be sure to call the berry hotline at 440-729-9809 for Pick Your Own updates before you come out.  Or call 440-729-1964 for pre-picked strawberry information – ordering is encouraged. 

Several varieties are available which are all great for fresh eating, freezing and preserving into jams. Ask us for tips on preserving as well as recipes for their use.

Seasoned strawberry pickers know it is best to pick first thing in the morning before the sun is too warm.

Pre-Picked Strawberries

We pick fresh berries daily for our market. Call our market at 440-729-1964 for updates on the beginning of these strawberries and daily availability. Of course, we will happily take your order so that you can be sure we have berries when you want them.
