Family Fun Fest

Bring the family, pack a lunch (or visit our concession stand) and relax in our outdoor farm fun area – designed to allow you and your preschool and elementary age children family to choose the pace and activities you most enjoy together. 

In addition to the many other adventures, you can play in our hay stacks, climb our tree house in the woods and slide down the 50 foot double slide, wander through our corn maze and take a wonderful nature hike through the ravines and hills of Geauga County. The admission fee includes a wagon ride.

A horse drawn wagon ride can take you around the farm on a first come first serve basis from the fest. Availability depends on the horses and conditions. During public hours you can also paint a pumpkin for a fee.

• The fest is open on weekends from September 18th through October 31st, including NEOEA Day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a cost of $6.00 per person.
   
• Per person charges include adults and children excepting 2 years and younger. Seniors are $4.00 regardless of the time you come.
   
• Weekdays are open to the public from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and everything is a little more laid-back. You need to bring your own food. The cost is $4.00 per person.
   
• Pumpkin painting is available weekday afternoons (2-6) as well as on weekends.
  Cost: $3.00 includes pumpkin.

Same Day Ticket Pick-up

Group Leaders can pick up wristbands at the Apple Barn (entrance to the Fun Fest) the day of the event.  No ticket is necessary and no waiting in the ticket booth line. The Group will hand out the wristbands as participants arrive. Then participants can simply join the line waiting to ride to the Fest area.  We do NOT hand out wristbands to your group. Any unused (undistributed) wristbands can be returned at the end of the event. Please check in with our Group Coordinator.

Pre-sale Tickets

Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at the Apple Barn (entrance to the Family Fun Fest) during regular week-day business hours (10 – 6:00 Monday through Friday during the fest season. Discounts will be based on tickets bought up to date.  Refunds/return of unused tickets will be based on total number used. Tickets must be redeemed by the holder the day of the event at our ticket booth for a wristband. We do not mail or arrange pick-up of presale tickets. 

Shelter Rentals for Fun Fest Groups

Rental Option #1 – reservable $125.00

Iroquois Shelter

Includes electricity, 3 car passes, use of shelter between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Rental Option #2 – reservable $75 per two hours - $100.00 for all day (10:00 – 4:30)

Tent-covered picnic tables

Includes four picnic tables (shelter has no sides or ends), one car pass, electric available for $10.00

Group Option #3 – non-reservable

Picnic tables  first come first serve. We reserve the right to limit the number of tables used by a single group based on attendance or weather.

Groups need to check in at the Apple Barn (entrance to the Fun Fest) the day of the event with our Group Coordinator.  Here we will discuss details for the day and groups can get their car parking passes.  No cars will be allowed back or permitted to stay without a car pass.

Groups that are not scheduled will be allowed to drive back and unload, then park up front. They still need to check in with our Group Coordinator, prior to driving back, to obtain a temporary parking pass.

Group Pumpkin Painting

There is no group discount for pumpkin painting. You can, however, arrange a time to paint as a group by checking in with our Information/Ticket booth back in the Fun Fest area the day of your event.  Cider is available to groups at a discounted rate.  Please ask the Information/Ticket booth back in the Fun Fest area the day of your event.

Cider for Groups

We will provide cider/small cups as it is requested for a discounted rate. It can be purchased at the Information Booth the day of the event.

Large Orders for Other Extras

Only if an order is large or for a large group can we provide delivery for other items such as donuts, pumpkins, decorations. To make arrangements to pick up donuts for your group, call the farm market 440-729-1964. You would pick these up at the farm market as pre-arranged.  Fall decorations and pumpkins can be purchased at our farm market or at the Apple Barn (entrance to the Family Fun Fest).
